My New 991 CAB from 997.2 CAB

Took delivery yesterday of my NEW 2013 Carrera 2S Cab, Basalt Black Metallic, Black Top, Espresso all natural leather interior, 2300 miles on OD, NEVER TITLED. With all options (factory & dealer installed) window sticker was around $152K. This car was totally overloaded with options when ordered (Full leather interior, Leather Seat Backs, Black Bi-Xennon Headlights, 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats, etc.). Drive out price for me reflected a full 17% off window sticker. In addition to the factory build sheet specs the following items were installed by dealer and reflected in the total window sticker.
• Escort Radar/Laser 9500ci
• Ceramic Window Tint
• Clear Side Marker Lights
• CPO – 6 Years/100,000 miles.
• 3 year/30,000 Mile Porsche Scheduled Maintenance Program
I have been watching this 991 for several months, for those of you who can find untitled 2013 cars, the dealers are every motivated to sell any remaining 2013 inventory as the 2015 models will start production shortly. This 991 was over optioned and over priced historically to sell against 2014 models. Dealer needed to get it out of his inventory and off the books.

Factory Build Spec Sheet
Z4 - Basalt Black Metallic w/Black Cab Top
250 - Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK)
176 - Sport Exhaust System
640 - Sport Chrono Package
840 - SportDesign steering wheel

EEA - Interior package in leather
998 - Natural Leather Interior
XHB - Center console trim in leather
P07 - Adaptive Sport Seats Plus (18-way)
P3G - Premium Package Plus with Adaptive Sport Seats Plus
XWK - Sport Seats Plus backrests shell in leather
XPT - Storage compartment lid with Porsche Crest
XSC - Porsche Crest on headrests
XES - Preparation door entry guards, illuminated
XXB - Doorsill guards in stainless steel, illuminated
XEX - Bi-Xenon Headlights in Black incl. Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS)
P37 - BOSE Audio Package
427 - 20-inch Carrera Classic wheels w/Colored Center Caps
603 - Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS)

Wow, that's a great deal on a really good looking cab! So many miles and never titled, was it a demo car?

Nice, how does it compare to the 997.2?

Yes, sales manager's private ride, but he stopped driving it regularly in January. They had it listed in New cars without CPO until about 10 days ago.

Night and day difference, totally different drive. I loved both my 996 & 997.2 and never intended to buy a 991 until this deal came ago. I am headed to to Georgia Mountains tomorrow for a true test drive . Am having CLEARBRA installed as I write this.

Will install the 991 SMARTTOP next week

Congrats on the new ride. I had a 997.1 then a cayman and now my 991. Mine was also heavily optioned. Mine was a 2012 preowned. Definitely an upgrade.

Now you need a new avatar.

Definitely get the clear bra. I did my entire car except the rear spoiler and engine cover area. I think I may get them done too.

The ride into the North Georgia Mountains on Sunday with the new 991 was outstanding, even though it was raining at times, the car literally stuck to the road. The PSE on the 991 is a world of difference over the 997.2, the downshifting GROWL sounds it makes are outstanding . As others have said the new PDK much smarter as well. I will be doing the Tail of the Dragon and other NC roads in a couple of weeks with a group of PCAR's from ATL, for a real driving test of this sweet thing.
