I did not have PSE, just the standard 911S exhaust. I could do that install now in two hours start to finish once the car is on the jackstands. Took me a bit longer as I was always getting the camera and had to run to the auto parts store for the hoses (which I found out today should have been included in the kit, but were left out). Part of what I was going for was not having to deal with buttons and remotes to activate it all. I would highly recommend the Tubi if you can do the price on it.

Looks like a great exhaust. Why are they so expensive vs. the PSE? Suncoast has the complete exhaust with tips and switch for $2,600

I'm wondering when upgrading to the PSE whether you get all three mufflers??

Who did you get the Tubi from as well?

The PSE is just the center muffler if upgrading a 991S, the sides remain the same. The Tubi is an entire cat-back exhaust system. And its more aggressive than the PSE. You do get the switch with the kit from Porsche but it does require re-programming of your air conditioning module in order to accept the button function - in other words a trip to the dealer is required and 1 hour on the Porsche computer.

I purchased from the USA Distributor, Champion Motorsports in FL (Victor). Yes, its 2x the price of the PSE, but half that of the Akropovic. You just have to decide which is right for you and your budget.

Thanks for the clarification! It answered all my questions. Thanks and enjoy it. The drive will be more exciting!

If you get an extra 2 mufflers, it's worth the extra cost.

I get faster and better answers on here than calling a dealer! You guys are great.

Just keep it quiet when pulling into your work as to not bring any attention to any customers with smart comments!!

One crazy dealer quoted me 6K for install and PSE parts. Insane !! I've yet to find a dealer service dept. that has any brains or common sense. The "advisors" are the worst. Try to pretend like they know what they're talking about.

They were talking like it was a 10 hr project. What a joke.

$ 6K is too much for a PSE retrofit. Suncoast isn't even the cheapest - you buy a full PSE center section with the switch, etc. for around $ 2,400. I even have a 20% Techquipment coupon I am not going to use for Porsche Tysons that would get that below $ 2K. Yours if you want it (I might have to buy the system for you since the coupon is in my name) PM if you want to work it out.

Then, if you have the basic hand tools you can do the pipe itself in under 2 hours. Install the switch in the console (again, easy to do), then go by the dealer and pay them $ 150 to program it. Done.

Usually for those coupons they go off of full list I think. I'll maybe take you up on it for all the upgraded cosmetic parts I'll be needing!

Sport Design Front Bumper (still on the fence about the duck tail though).

GT3 mirrors

Who has the best pricing on Porsche parts these days?? Suncoast has been my go to and they're great, but seems like they're getting a little more expensive or the others are competing more??

Alright, here's my very first attempt at an edited video with my new GOPRO on the Tubi Exhaust. It doesn't quite pick up the volume level and makes it seem a bit quieter than it really is. In any case, this is the best I can do for you guys....Its harder then it looks to make a video!

Very nice Duane, I hope you're happy with it for the remaining 3 months that you'll be owning that car...

Nice write-up too.
