991 S vs Cayman GTS
#46
I love them all cayman, boxster, 911. My decision was simple due to having small children and needing the back seats. I would love to own any of them. Don't worry about what others think. Test drive and buy what you love.

It's like trying to get agreement on what's best, a blonde, red head, or brunette.
They're all good cars and flavors... Each have their own tricks/talents...

Most people don't want to hear the real answer to this question, because it costs money. This isn't a mystery, it isn't even close. The 991 911 in S or 4S form is CLEARLY superior. If you lack personal experience with these cars, I refer you to the 2013 Motor Trend drivers car. The Cayman S was very nice and a 5th place finisher. Beating out cars that cost many times as much. The 911 C4S (and equally the C2S) took first place, beating out EVERYTHING! Even winning the post test later on that month when the Corvette and Ferrari made the scene. Motor trend didn't worry about money, the cars were provided free. There is no substitute and there is only one king... All hail the King!!
The 991 does have a few advantages though, the biggest being driver comfort. Other slight advantages are power and grip coming out of corners.
I've owned higher end cars including an r8 v10, 997.2 gt3, and 997.2 c2s price was not a factor for me in regards to choosing the cayman. After driving the 991s back to back with the cayman GTS it was a very easy choice for me.

Sorry don't agree with this at all. I have extensive experience with the 991 s and I prefer the driving dynamics of the 981 GTS. The steering, brakes, handling, engine/exhaust noise, and balance are superior in the cayman GTS IMO.
