Painting Calipers
#2
I don't let anyone but Scott Witzig from ProTech Auto do work on my cars. He painted my spoiler and rear valence on my 991. And has worked on several of my cars over the years. He does paintwork for many of the local high end dealerships. Mercedes, Audi, Porsche, Bentley, Aston, etc. He is not convenient to get to, but worth the effort. Painting calipers would be a piece of cake for him.

Assume you are doing this on a base....?
Just know that there are folks out there which consider it bad form and will consider you a poser.... (This is a running debate) Personally though I agree red looks better than black on a 911.
Assuming you are capable of removing your wheels.. Just get caliper paint ( sun coast and others carry it) which will handle the temperature and do it yourself... Also get the replacement porsche decals.. It isn't rocket science...

I've heard of Porsche snobs before but considering it bad form to paint black calipers red is the height of ridiculousness. Personally I prefer the black calipers with my 20" 911 Turbo Design Wheels.

you can get G2 red caliper paint very easy DIY and get your self a can of high heat clear caliper paint and some stickers from ebay..
if you do spray paint you need to cover the car very good or you would get a lot of over spray
you can't see the caliper with black paint, thats why I like the red better and also oem balck after few months looks grey

I have always thought that with the way we P-car lovers like to configure and tweak everything, Porsche would offer an option (at a nice cost, of course) to paint the calipers to match the exterior color or to deviate them to whatever color you choose. Go for it. The red does look good with any color exterior.

I really like the gloss black. Did you paint them yourself or did you have them done professionally?

Professionally done
I usually do them myself (on my other cars) but this a Porsche and I can't afford screwing up =P

Just trying to dress the car up a bit and love red calipers on most cars. Not just 911's

It's not like you're putting a Porsche badge on a Honda Civic. Then I'd be leaning towards the poser label.
