Same here. Congrats. Dealer took forever with the programming as well. Car was being difficult but it got done right on time.

So what was the total cost to make that upgrade?

Maybe it's just me, but mine seemed to get louder over the first few weeks. I remember thinking at first that the difference wasn't too noticeable, but now... :-)

Parts from sun coast (~$2500) + Labor ($873) = $3,373.00.

Oh ya? I'll pay attention to this over the next few weeks then. I'm sure it will take on a new tone once the exhaust is broken in so to speak...

They have to replace the center console switch "box" or panel that contains the buttons. Your old switch panel should be returned to you.... The programming is basically to activate the switch on CAN-BUS and clear any ECU log entries so you basically start with a clean slate in the logs - green field so that any errors or warnings that might occur after the new exhaust install can be isolated as an "after" condition and not a "before" condition. I guess clearing the logs might take a while or something if there is a code they can't clear....

The operation to remove the center console switch panel takes all of 10 minutes or less for someone who does it often. I cover this in my DIY post here and at: DIY - 2014 Porsche 991 911 Center Console Trim Removal. The post is more focused on removing the trim panels, but towards the end I pull the center switch panel and show how it is connected by a single small gang of wire and a single connector.

Have fun with the new exhaust!

That's not bad at all. I thought you were going to say 5500 to 6000. I was thinking , geez, for 6 grand , I'm just going to trade mine in.

PSE is a great upgrade, good luck with yours.

If you try and order the parts individually and cut out the exhaust tips and maybe a few other repetitive parts like he did you can save a few bucks.

Overall the OP did very pretty well in the big scope of things. Look at what some of these aftermarket guys are charging for exhausts.

I think the PSE is great. Perfect sound without turning heads in every neighbors window.

Loud when you need it, and low key when you don't.

I didn't know that, that is a big difference, IMHO.

The tips alone are like $600 I'm not sure how the other numbers jive up. Maybe 911cv can break it down.

I just ordered the complete kit and made it easy. Ordered from Sunset Porsche in Oregon. Cheapest I could find.

I agree. Maybe if ordered as individual parts and if you keep some old parts. Not worth the time tbh

Good luck. It's going to make driving so much better for you. Not too loud as others said but it will turn heads.
