they only put the sport cup tires on stock to win magazine reviews and comparison tests. There is a reason why a normal street tire is usually a no cost option.

Are you using them for track?
You can't compare one manufacturer's treadwear number to another's. It doesn't work like that. The number is really only relevant within a given manufacturer's lineup.

And OP, if you need something stickier than PZeros, why not Michelin Pilot Supersport? Sticks better, rides better, lasts longer, what's not to love?

Really I thought the treadwear had federal tests that generated that number. So you could compare one manufacturer to another otherwise all of the manufacturers would lie, kind of like the government.
