Paddle shifter size

Any way to increase their size? I feel like they need to be a little bigger to be optimally used ...

Interesting, i find under certain driving conditions such as autocross they are to large. I have found myself inadvertently shifting while making tight turns.

And I find them perfect!

I've had aftermarket large bling ones in other cars and they ended up getting in the way. And I've had smaller OEM ones in BMW and Audi's. The ones in the Carrera are perfect.

Sometimes I find myself looking for them when turning the wheel, and getting the wrong one. I like the stationary ones that my previous car had - those were also twice as large..

I could see bigger paddles if it were stationary. But on the Carrera you have to be making a pretty tight turn for you to need to move your hands, at least at speed. Maybe you are moving your hands around more than you need to? Just a thought.

Haha I hear you all. I do use the paddles mostly to change gears, and its not an issue at highway speeds since the steering wheel moves little.

On the other hand, on tight twisty roads on hills, and slower speeds, I like to keep both my hands on the steering wheel. I prefer not to have to keep one hand on the gear shifter column. I was taught that it was bad form to cross ones arms when steering when I was learning to drive, but maybe my hands move too much in this case.

There is never a reason to move both hands when driving at speed. I have never been on a tight A/X course that required moving hands. Crossing one's arms is the standard for tight turns. The paddles are always in the same place when hands are stationary on the wheel. On the track, turns are much less severe than A/X. Two hands on the wheel with thumbs wrapped on the center bar is the standard for those with paddles.
