Steering wheel and PDK paddles from DB Carbon
Hi everyone,
I have always been a believer in letting fellow car guys know when I receive excellent Customer Service and a great Product from a Vendor. I had looked at several different manufacturers, and when I contacted DB Carbon, I always received quick and very courteous replies. My contact at DB Carbon was Daniel, and he was great to work with. As we all know, a custom aftermarket steering wheel is an expensive thing to purchase, so I did a lot of research before committing to buy from DB Carbon.
DB Carbon has the ability to provide high quality work while keeping cost reasonable compared to other manufacturers. They do not operate on a core return policy, and their pricing comes out even better if you consider this point.
A great thing about Daniel from DB Carbon was he took the time to get to know my needs through our email exchanges, and he sensed that I did not want to have to transfer all the mechanicals of the Sport Steering wheel center trim and the paddle shifters from my old wheel to the new one, and he told me they could do the center trim and paddle shifters in carbon fiber, with them installing them, thus providing me a complete custom wheel, with only the stock airbag to drop in, besides the removal of the old wheel. I found this to be a great option, as I did not want to mess with the trim and the paddles myself, and this gave me the opportunity to do a self installation of the wheel.
DB Carbon made my wheel to my exact specifications, and I received it in good condition with no hassle. I chose their most popular style, which is a carbon fiber upper and lower section (2 piece), and leather grip areas. The carbon fiber is a perfect match for my stock Porsche Carbon Fiber interior trim options, so the steering wheel integrates seamlessly with my stock interior, and the leather matches my stock leather interior as well. I had DB Carbon make the center 12:00 ring and the paddle shift +/- signs in silver to match the exterior of the car, GT Silver Metallic. Installation was surprisingly easy, and just took a half hour or so with me being very slow in my DIY installation.
So I can whole heartedly give my recommendation to DB Carbon for your Porsche interior carbon fiber pieces. They have carbon for most Porsche models, and their Steering Wheel configure option is easy to follow. I would recommend anyone to contact Daniel at contact@db-design-group.com with any questions or inquiries for custom work. Their website is www.DBCarbon.com
DB Carbon has quality products at reasonable prices, and they also have excellent Customer Service to complement that product quality. Great combination. Pictures below.

Thank you. The DB Carbon pieces are an exact match for OEM CF trim. It is their standard black carbon color and high gloss finish option.

Dave,
First, your interior looks AWESOME! I love it. Second, agree with you 100% about Daniel. I joined the forum too late for the annual DB Carbon GB, but (pun not intended) quite sold on the quality of his work and his customer service.
I'd recommend anyone looking for CF on their 991 talk to DB Carbon--it's not cheap, but you get what you pay for
