Bad to drive in sport plus mode all the time?

I was thinking about this very question today. I have a Carrera S with PDK and every time I start the car I push sport plus. It is a totally different car. Much more responsive and interactive. I real kick in the pants and I have 2 exotics in the garage.

Sport Plus in Auto PDK is annoying as heck around town, or anywhere other than raising hell in it.
I can see Sport Plus in Manual...correct?

Personally I love the interaction with the car required with Sport Plus. No different than if you had a manual transmission. The PDK with paddle shift offers a wonderful driving experience and it allows you to hold the gears and make it feel like the sports car it truly is. Personal preference.

I have a manual and the first thing I do after I start the car is push the sports+ button, brake next and then go like hell. No lease but having owned Porsches for over 40 years, I learned these cars were built to drive.

With PDK do you guys use manual mode only or let the PDK shift and occasionally intervene with the paddles/buttons.
On a side note, I have those annoying buttons that I just can't seem to work right.
Any tips?
Also with the gear labeled opposite to the "normal" it gets confusing when driving different cars in the same day or week.

As mentioned way above my technician very strongly advises no use or sport or sport + until oil is warmed up. On the cars with X51 engine (includes GTS) the 3rd oil cooler opens up when either of those buttons pushed and high danger of engine damage is engine stressed when cold. Just common sense.

One other feature of Sport Plus: engine management sets a lower target oil temperature (~194F vs ~215F) and higher oil pressure (electrically regulated oil pump). This hurts mileage, but presumably helps oil and engine life.

I have the traditional paddles on both my Frrrari and Maserati and I actually have come to like the Porsche shifters better. They allow you to shift up or down on either side of the wheel and I simple drive with my hands in a 9-3 position and have total control of the car. Love it.
As for driving in sport + all the time, like others say, just let it warm up first. You sorta have to shift manually in sport+, else it's too much in the neighborhood. I just slap mine into sport normally.
