well i had my dream gts on order and my wife pushed me to the targa as she wanted an open top classic i said ok as i have always got what i wanted in the past she assured me i would never use all that GTS power and she just wanted a cruiser that she will drive so i still get a 911 and she gets some open air
picking her up sat morning

 

What about the Targa GTS?

Just think about the top going down and you won't miss the 30 hp.

Either one is a great choice. However I would've picked the GTS with the glass sunroof. The GTS is amazing.

 

You will be happy with your choice, the GTS version does not give you much extra even with 30 extra ponies, performance numbers are almost the same as the Targa 4S and identical to a standard 911S, keeping the wife happy will pay good dividens for a long time. Post some pictures when she arrives
