Volkswagen emissions-test-cheating
"So far, Volkswagen has said that its emissions-test-cheating software was installed on 11 million VW, Audi, Porsche, and Seat vehicles worldwide from 2008 to 2015. However, vehicles from the 2016 model year may also be equipped with illegal code or devices. (Probes have already been launched.)"
have their been any announcements on how this specifically affects porsche and possibly its resale value? and when the corrupt software is removed will the affected vehicles still continue to meet required emission standards?

Should be interesting I have a 2012 Golf and a 2014 Cayenne diesel, which both cars I like very much. The Cayenne gets up to 33mpg on the hwy. Not sure what will happen I have been contacted by numerous lawyers about suing VW. I heard the value of the Golf has dropped 16%, I don't care since the plan was to keep the car a long time, same with the Cayenne. The Golf does not need adblue which the Cayenne does. I heard that 2 firmware fixes and the addition of an urea (adblue) system did not help the VW pass the test. So we'll see, I think VW is screwed either way. I can only see that VW will need to fiscally to the owners since they bought a product which was not as advertised. Funny VW had commercials saying how clean their diesels were.
