PDK Paddle Question

PDK Paddle Question
I'm considering purchasing a 2015 PDK C2S. I test drove a 2013 but it it didn't have the paddles, just the steering wheel buttons. My question is how do you actually shift the PDK with the paddles? Is it pulling the right paddle shifts up and the left paddle shifts down?

That is how the push buttons on steering wheel work.

I have a 2013 with PDK. Right paddle is pulled back to go up a gear and left paddle is pulled back to drop a gear. Same shifting method as was on my BMW 650 and is on my Audi S5 and my Macan Turbo thus this old guy doesn't get too confused with different configurations.

Pulling both back on my 2013 C4S doesn't put it in neutral. Did this feature start with a specific year?

At the same time, tap both backwards and release quickly.
Neutral.

As mentioned above, just pull the levers back quickly and release. The first time I tried it I was holding them back too long and it won't work. Just pull back as if shifting and release. It will work.
It's great for sitting at a stoplight and revving the engine to impress girls. And annoy your wife.
