991 Base Model Suspension options
Hey guys. Just a quick question. Does anybody suggest a decent pair of lowering springs for the 991 base models? I've seen some pictures of lowered 991's but I'm not sure which are s models or 4s models. Just looking for a little guidance. As I mentioned in a different post, I wanted to add some classic Carrera wheels, possibly some spacers and maybe fill the wheel gap a little bit!
Thanks guys

First, when you see lowered P cars, they may have lowering springs or PASM or S PASM. S PASM will the base by .78 inches. This will be equal to the S maximum lowering height using OEM options.
I hear that a good combo is H&R springs and Bilstein shocks. There are several types of Bilstein, so some research is need to meet your objectives.
As for spacer, I have used the OEM 5mm on all wheels, assuming that you are not using 305 rear tires. Again, some research is needed based on your intended use.

I like that H&R Springs Part no. 28880-1 says that it works with our PASM shocks.
1.2" drop in the front and 1.0 drop in the rear.
If I didn't already have SPASM I would be leaning towards H&R Springs for a daily driver.

Wow guys. I appreciate the tips and part numbers
Btw, just a snippet of info. It will be a sunday car, no daily deiving and no tracking. Just want it to look a little tighter with the wheel gaps

My guidance is to just make sure whatever you do, that you can get into your driveway without bottoming.. I've blown out enough spoiler lips that lowering is not as appealing to me anymore.

hehe, I know that feeling! ^^
this new driveway of mine is as flat as a wall.. my previous home had an ultra steep driveway, that actually prevented me from getting some sports cars up into the garage..

Been there done that, I would recommend Eibach Springs p/n E10720120122
Had both on my Base 991 and prefer the Eibachs since they didn't lower my car as much as the H&R springs did.
The stance with the Eibachs was spot on with S-PASM specs, this also put less stress on my non PASM OE shocks.
Ride quality was better on the Eibachs, but still, both were firmer than OE
