991CS NA Cobb AP installed!
Finally got around to doing a tune for my 911-50, minus the power kit.
Yes, we are the unfortunate ones (row) who get the cars without X51 so I was a bit disappointed in the performance. Already has 200 cell headers and IPD plenum for about 2 months now. Installation with the Cobb AP was easy and took no less than 10 minutes, just make sure the car battery is hooked up to a charger.
The increase in HP/TQ is more prominent in the higher rpms while the lower half is more responsive with the advanced curves. The exhaust is notably louder and raspier. All in all it is very similar or exactly like an X51 upgrade which was what I was looking for to begin with...... Much thanks to Sam at ByDesign and Cobb!

This is one of the few mods I am considering at the moment for my 991S. Being that this is my first Porsche I have a lot of learning to do before I take the plunge, but I really appreciate you posting such positive results! Looking forward to hearing more on the Cobb!

will the Cobb also add power to the X51 cars? Also, what about adding an exhaust and the Cobb? I am debating on keeping my car and mod'ing or just getting something else. Is there a dyno chart for this? also what is the cost?

Yes it will! We are releasing the maps for those cars this week!

There will probably be some gains with a set of Fabspeed or similar headers with the HJS 200cpi cats, not from a cat back kit.

I'm getting my Fabspeed sport headers with sport cats installed next week and I'm wondering if your tune will help getting more powers and eliminate CELs. Let me know. I'm ready to jump on now. Thanks!
