Nice chatting with you on the phone today.

I think for what you paid, you actually got MORE value than you think. $1000 is extremely low and far below market rate. Typical full front with a quality material should be north of $1700-1800 and wanting something free of flaws such as dirt particle, landmarks lined up, and rolled edges, etc. will come close to, and above, $2k for a full front.

The fair thing to do is give the installer an opportunity to fix things. Be specific on what bothers you and let him know you're both in it together and what can be done to make both of you happy.

Good luck and let us know how it turns out

The problem with his install looks like he got a ton of Razor cuts in the paint from this hack installer.

I respectfully disagree. From the photos, based on mis-aligned land marks, it's obvious installer went pre-cut, requiring little to no need for a blade to be used. I don't see any "Manual" cuts, which would increase the probability of deep razor marks by an unskilled hand.

It's not to say it's impossible, since none of know what the installer did. Just based on my professional observation of the photos posted, it's a low probability of razor marks in the paint.

To OP, how did everything turn out? Were you and installer able to come to a happy resolution?

I have an appointment with the installer in a few weeks. Will update everyone as soon as I can. He did razor around the headlight cleaners in picture 2, as well as around the headlight in picture 3. My concern is that the misalignments will lead to the film lifting as in some of the pictures you can see that the film is not sitting on the car (picture 1)

Sharing my views exactly. No way to guess there are cuts in the paint from the pics. The issues looked like they could be largely addressed by the installer. And the OP got a great deal.

Film lifting can also be addressed. Even if the film was not wrapped, quite often you will not have an issue with it peeling off, that doesn't happen like you might think.

I was just looking at the Headlights and noticed around the headlight washers. I hope your right about there being no razor cuts.
