I agree 100%.

Thank you all for your advice. Went to the dealership. They said they are willing to pay for half for the paint correction. Better than nothing I suppose.

^^^That's great news! As you said, better than nothing at all! Keep us posted, and let me know if you need any help with finding a reputable detailer.

STOP do not make any paint correction (painting) this not necessary and you have a risk / color mismatch vs different lights and so on...
+1 regarding wrong preparation at the dealer with a polisher.
Nevertheless this is really easy to correct, don't worry. If you don't feel confortable to correct it ask to your dealer to correct or pay for correction at a detailer. But a nice detailer should do it for nothing this is not more than 15' job with a rotary machine / medium pad (like Meguiars yellow) and polish like a 2500 menzerna.
For example / comparable to your case :
My BWM hood after BMW shop preparation (for 6 years services)
And after 15' job to correct it with medium pad and 2500 Menzerna.
I had the same issue on my 991 at Porsche dealer and now I put all the time instructions on the dashboard "Do not wash or dry the car"
Good luck but really don't worry....

Thanks for your concern. By paint correction I mean polishing with compound, not repainting.
