My local porsche dealer posted this a few days ago. Looks like there will not be a duck tail for the 991.2 - but this new Sport Design Kit. Reminds of what Vorsteiner has for the 911. Check out the pics below.

I guess due to the change in air flow and cooling requirements by the turbos.

 

The pic with the spoiler up looks about like it gets to an angle and height that an installed ducktail would, and as though it would have the same effect on the intake ducts. It is wider, so maybe Porsche found that it would be more effective, or just made a style decision. As likely, they will offer more options as the paint drys!

 

i don't like the spoiler. the front bumper is so so.

I actually the subtle touch. It would be interesting if you could just buy the top wing piece and while using existing mechanicals underneath. I would go for this

Instead they give us the longtail. Can someone knock on suncoasts door and tell them to put this and the tail lights up on the website already!!

I thought the same thing. Gimme one. I just got one my porsche and I can't find a shop in our neck of the woods with anything fun for the 991.2 yet. We need a suncoat on the west coast for local pickup!

I'll take a long tail too please. Id like to try something new. Duck is just everywhere now.
