I have been using Carpro products. Their CQuartz ceramic coating, and Reload silica spray are great products. Their eraser and Fixer are great for serious detail professionals and amateurs like me. I also have used Pinnacle Natural Brilliance products, especially their interior products. Also, I have used 3D professional products. They are best on newer paint especially American cars. However their products especially their HD Free cleaner and interior products are pretty good too. I used their nano way on my F150 and worked great. Not sure if I would try it on the 991.

EDHondroulis is infamous around these parts
3M manufactures a paint protection film which protects the painted surfaces of your car from rock chips. 3M just introduced a brand new film. Many shops are putting ceramic coatings on top of film.

It really depends on your needs and how you are planning to maintain your car. Paint Protection Film will protect your paint from road rash, rock chips, ect. Waxes, sealants, and Ceramic Coatings with protect your paint from the elements. We install ClearGuard Nano ( http://prestige-films.com/clearguard-nano-sr/ ) exclusively because of its:

1. Clarity (virtually zero orange peel texture)
2. Best Gloss (when applied correctly, it gives the look of freshly detailed paint)
3. Hydrophobic properties keeps the car cleaner for a longer period of time.

If you are considering PPF, the most important factors to look at are:

1. Experience of the company. The quality of the installation has more to do with experience of the company than the film used, although the film used will contribute to the final product. Inexperienced installers can make the best film look horrible....and in many cases, damage your paint.

2. Film use. If you detail oriented and have a good eye for detail, many of the "popular" films add unsightly orange peel texture.

Lastly, most of our customers choose to add a Ceramic Coatings on top of the film and paint for added protection against the elements, ease of cleaning, and added longevity to the PPF. Fpr us, our preferred coatings are Modesta and Nanolex.
