Some sort of fan noise when turning steering wheel
Any of you ever experienced some sort of noise (not whining noise ) while turing your steering wheel? I have 2012 911 S Coupe with PDK.
It's definitely not a clunk noise (from front struts) nor whining noise (when there is some issue with power steering pump or low fluid).
The noise is some sort of vibrating noise like there's some debris stuck in the fans.
It only happens when driving not at idle (turning steering wheel left and right)
But there's no vibration at all and when I drive straight I barely hear it or I don't hear it at all.
It only happens during low speed turn. It doesn't sound like hub bearing either.
It is very similar noise/sound to when you put your finger in a fan. I know most of you have done it when you were young lol
I pulled off under tray, wheels, fender liners, and front lip and cleaned all debris and checked if there's any loose cables/harness/hoses etc.
There's no evidence that the tires are contacting any part of vehicle.
I also checked both cooling fans and they function properly no noise there.
Any idea? your input is greatly appreciated.
