Badass car...styling always is questionable at first, then people adjust and like it. The added weight will be long forgotten as well, once that right pedal is mashed and it sticks like glue through the turns.
Not enough additional thrills or needed upgrades (for the $$) to get me to move from my modified 991.1 though.

Every time new Generation is out, the guys who own the previous will say they like their better/its not doing it for them and so, in hope to catch a rare sweet spot when the predecessor is better than the new model (like 993 to 996 "upgrade"). However, this time, it seems like it might be right. Car looks very clumsy, specially in the rear. and as i am sure its incredible using the modern interior, whats with the giant cup holder, is that a minivan ?
If the car prove it's performance on the technical race track like the 991 its ok, hope it can still go. i trust Porsche it will but we will see.

Does it have a GPF? If so, how can it ever have any decent sound? What are the specs on power? I am not thrilled with the angles on the front bumper but other than that it looks pretty similar to the 991. I haven't owned my 991tts for three years. I was waiting to see how this car looks and performs, it's been a long wait. In the meantime I have been owning Ferraris. When is it supposed to be available in the US?

Yes, it will have the GPF. You would need to replace the cats and tune it to avoid throwing a CEL if someone decides to remove it.

Factory delays have made it a mystery. However, it was available to order last time I checked, and it would have been arriving late summer/early fall.

I got my 991tts in Aug 2014 from a launch buyer at a big discount. I really enjoyed it and I enjoyed modding it but on the Ferrari forum there is a lot of concern that the GPF won't be possible to remove without an ECU tune and that takes time to develop. I got one of the last Ferraris without the GPF. I like the 812 enough that I may stick with it a few years.
Need to work on the launch some.

After hearing the Ferraris with the GPF I think the sound on the 992 is going to be pathetic. The GPF seems to deaden the sound out of the engine. I have heard the F8 and the 812 GTS now and they are sad by comparison to their non GPF counterparts. I parked my car at the store the other day and attracted a nice 991.2. I think it looks great and probably sounds better than the 992 will. However, I don't think the 991 turbos sound like much without some exhaust mods.

Anyone driven it? Don't mind sounds, i mind performance and feel. Trying to undersatnd if my 991.2 TTS should be "upgraded" or is it the sweet spot, because i heard the 991.2 TTS is rough and "basic" feel VS the 992 TTS...
