Great car and my 8th 911. It's noticeably better than the 991.1.

It's headed to Amelia Island and the events in March.

Thanks,
It took me a couple of months to like the rear design.

The side view is similar

Turbo rear flanks are now standard. Big Butt.

The front view has many small changes.

Driving lights in headlight, no fog lights. Turn signal moved and those flaps below open and close due to air-flow needs to to coolers.

Overall, it is a much better car. The handling and power are better. The interior screen is really is good and like the touch screen from the 991.2. The Bose stereo is better (finally)..

My only complaint is 991.1 had a permanent default for on/off engine idling. I now have to turn it off each time I turn the key on. OK, it's easy to do on the touch screen.

It's going to Amelia Island in two weeks for the car week.

Great shots! And the color pops. Love it!

I was in a similar spot as you (but just the opposite) before ordering mine. I really loved the standard rear over the SD rear, but had trouble accepting the standard front fascia. For whatever reason, it just wasn’t resonating with me. However, I do like the standard front with darker colors like yours. Very nice!

In regards to your complaint about the A.S.S. function. I remedied this by turning it off in “individual mode”. My current setup has individual mode identical to “normal mode”, except I have sport exhaust turned on, and A.S.S. turned off. So if you are a commuter and want to easily turn it off but still run in normal mode. Just dial it over to individual. If not for that, I’d be frustrated having to manually turn it off.

Love the base, looks like you’ve got a beauty there. Enjoy and have fun at Amelia island.
