Presenting the AWE Foiler™ Wind Diffuser for the 992
You know that sound that makes your head hurt when driving with one window down? That’s wind buffeting. And we cured it. From the original pioneers and creators of the Foiler™ Wind Diffuser:
Do you know that sound that makes it feel like your head is going to implode when driving your Porsche at speed with one window down? That’s called wind buffeting. It happens when you’re moving fast. It was an issue on the 991, and it’s an issue on the 992. Instead of letting drivers be subject to this painful byproduct of fulfilling their need for speed, we fixed it.
The AWE Foiler™ Wind Diffuser boasts an unobtrusive yet elegant design, sharing an aesthetic with the existing trim that allows it to look as if it came on the 992 from the factory.
Crafted from UV-stabilized injection-molded plastic, the Foiler™ Wind Diffuser complements Porsche styling without calling unwanted attention. Installation is easier (and faster) than ever before, mirroring the stock trim’s mounting points as well as reusing factory hardware.
Equip with the Foiler™, roll down your window, and wave goodbye to wind buffeting. Get equipped right here.

Foiled!
Hey everyone! So, the 992 Foiler™ was designed and tested on an early 2020 992 development car. As (bad) luck would have it, there was a minor mid-year production change in adjacent parts on the A-Pillar on 992s manufactured after 01/20, that we just discovered. So, what’s this mean to you? If you have a 992 Foiler™ already, it will fit, and it will function to kill wind buffeting. But there will be a tiny gap between the Foiler™ and the weather stripping. Again, this will NOT affect the function or mechanical fit. However:
We’re working on a tweak to the design that will allow us to cover both the early and the current 992 A-Pillars. If you were lucky enough to get a “first-run” 992 Foiler™ and notice this aesthetic gap, we’ll replace it on our dime (Just fill this outand we’ll get you in the queue for the new one!).
And, just to halt any further confusion on the issue, we’re gonna hold tight on selling the first run but as soon as the new ones are finished, we’ll get these back in action.
It’s not often this kind of thing happens, but here we are, so let’s fix this! We look forward to your facepalm Emoticons!

Back in action to battle buffeting!
We are back! The 992 foilers are back in stock and ready to ship. As you may or may not know, we had stopped the sale of our anti-buffeting solution in order to improve the product and meet AWE fitment standards. If you purchased a set of foilers you will be receiving new ones.
The part number for is now 1110-11017 for the pair and the correct numbers on the back of the Foilers are 200003 and 200004 - Driver and Passenger, respectively (see below). If you have part numbers 200001 or 200002 just fill out this form, and we’ll get you the right ones, stat!
Thank you for all of your support and understanding, we are sure the extra few weeks wait time will be well worth it.
