Build opinions?

Hi all - I'm prepping to get inline to place an order for a new C2S (yeah, no allocations available at nearby dealers), and would love to hear opinions on this build:

Gentian Blue
7MT
18- way Adaptive sport seats plus
Heated wheel
23.7 gal tank
Burmester sound

What say you all?

Are you an audiophile?

I love music and have nice equipment at home. In the 911 I feel compelled to listen to classic rock. I turn the enhanced Bose sound button off and put the windows down. Volume is more than sufficient to compete with PSE

Personally I'd get a Burmeister in a Panamera or SUV.

My 2 cents

Good luck! I'm sure you'll love the new car.
Regards,
DRR

Worse. I'm a musician who worked through grad school in a recording studio.

Volume isn't the issue. The Bose is just objectively BAD sounding - it literally has dips and peaks of 20 db or more, particularly in the upper bass region. From my perspective, it's completely unlistenable. When the "upgrade" audio package in a $100K+ car is worse than the Harmon-Kardon in my wife's Mini, costing far less, it's just not OK. No way will I ever pay for a Bose in any car every again.

.....but why classic rock? Nothing wrong with it, but......?

Good luck! I'm sure you'll love the new car.
Thanks! I expect so - I really liked the 997...except for the audio.

To me cars, like people, have personalities, which I also correlate with music styles. So in a BMW, Audi its house or classical. I NEVER listened to classic rock in my BMWs, but the 911 is just that car for me. Same with the windows. Never down in a BMW or Audi.

I have the Standard B&O system in our Q8 and it sounds too accurate - almost sterile to my ears. I guess I'm prone to a little signal processing...

Good luck with your build. I hope you find an allocation soon. I put a deposit down in September, no allocation yet, and won't likely receive a car until 2023 at this rate...

Regards,
DRP

All my Porsche's so far 2014, 2017 and 2021 all have had Burmester systems, the 14' and 17' were good, but the 21' is great if the others were good. I still upgraded speakers and amps, but I do that in all my cars and suv's. My 19' GT2rs has Bose, the only option in that car, and it BLOWS
