Folks, I have been reading and exploring the idea of trading my 2015 Turbo in on something new. I finally pulled the trigger a few weeks ago and thought I would write a quick post about the change. I was worried about going from a Turbo to a GTS. The new Turbos have gotten so expensive I was having a difficult time justifying the price for a car I drive about 3,000 miles per year. I have been pleasantly surprised by the performance, sound, interior, and handling of the GTS. I purchased a slightly used shark blue GTS (2023 with 5,000 miles). For those of you in the same situation, I wouldnt hesitate to make the switch. The interior is next level on the 992 as compared to the 991. The ride, handling, and acceleration in the 992 GTS are on par with the 991 Turbo. Hard to believe but I feel the GTS is actually more fun to drive. This was a big decision for me (and my daughter). She has only ever known my White Turbo with Red interior so going to the Shark Blue with Black interior was a big change but she has also approved (mostly because she likes the stereo controls in the 992 better....LOL). Anyways, just thought I would post a quick note about my experience in making this change. Happy driving!
