Can a 6'-4" frame fit in 993TT?

Sorry for the newbie question. I even did a quick search but found nothing.

Im contemplating purchasing and importing a clean 993TT from US to Canada. Im 6'-4" tall, and even taller with a helmet on. I intend in participating in driving events, and taking the 993tt out once a while to stretch its legs ...

Would I fit comfortably in a 993TT?

Thanks.

I am also 6'4". These cars are not very roomy for taller people. I have sport seats and it is pretty tight but not uncomfortable. If I were to put a helmet on, forget it. Now if you could find a non sunroof car that might help. Good luck

Thanks for your reply. Does the 993 come with an adjustable/telescopic steering wheel? If not, I dont see myself being confortable driving around for extended periods...

Im 6'4" as well.

Throw a set of GT3RS seats or Sparco EVO 2. Its a bit snug and there is maybe 3/4 of an inch of clearance with my helmet on. BUT, it can be done.

+1 for what FastrTHNu said - I am 6" 4" and it's tight, but not uncomfortable

GT3RS seats are on my wish list.

i'm 6'1 and i fit quite well. in fact i had a ton of the headroom but the seat was pushed all the way down, but given that fact i can't see how someone's who's 6'4 won't fit.

I'm 6'4 and no problem with the fit. Try to get electric seats. Have had 3 993's and all fit fine.

large "frame" fitting

I am 6'2" and have a '96 993TT with sunroof. I have installed GT3 seat, and with a helmet, i have to remove the bottom cushion of the seat to fit... and it is NOT comfortable! with all differing opinions, my suggestion is to take a helmet with you and sit in the car with the seats you will use and see - torso length is different for everyone and it could make a big difference.
currently,i am looking for a non-sunroof 993TT - anyone out there?

A couple of suggestions for you. I'm 78" Tall, according to my medical, (6'5") and my head hits the liner on bumps fairly hard. I'm installing Recaro's to alleviate the problem; with the seats in I fit w/ no cushion and a helmet. Barley...
For the knee problem I installed the steering wheel hub extender from Rennsport I believe. (Someone help me on this) It extended the wheel just enough so it sits in my lap just a little better and I do not hit my left knee with my hand when I'm turning.

I track my cars heavily, but haven't tracked the Turbo yet. I've sat in a prepped Turbo before with similar position modifications and in comparison it's night and day to the stock position. .

Like previously stated, Torso length matters.
