ECU flash problem...car will not fire

ECU flash problem...car will not fire

Sent ECU to reputable company to be flashed...sent back to my mechanic to install and car will not fire....took ECU out again and sent to be re-flashed or corrected...put back in car...still will not fire...my mechanic is "baffled"...any ideas?????...He has checked all the relays etc and car ran fine before the ECU was remapped....Thanx....Steve C 97 993TT

Hi, Sorry you're having problems. You need to borrow an ecu / get a spare one to check / see if your car will start with a different ecu. BTW if you can't find a 993tt ecu, a NA ecu will start a turbo/our cars, it just won't be able to control the boost but for trouble shooting a NA ecu will apparently work. Good luck.
