Kinesis K-18 wheel replacement parts
I'll make a long story short.
I have a set of K-18 Kinesis wheels I purchased in June of 2006. On the right rear wheel one of the fasteners that holds the rim to the center section is missing.
I called Kinesis, now part of Lexani/Asanti. I was told the bolts used on the current generation of Kinesis wheels use a different bolt, the primary difference being the head of the fastener and the tool used to tighten it. I was told if I wanted to replicate the original fastener I would have to source it on the internet.
Can anyone provide any guidance as to a source for 2006 vintage Kinesis wheel fasteners?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Sad to see the old Kinesis wheels fade away
I have had five sets of early Kinesis wheels including two different sets of 18's for my two Boxster S's, a set of 18's for my 996, a set of 17's strictly for track use, and a set of 17" wheels for the 930 (still owned). I never had a single issue with any of my Kinesis wheels in 10+ years of use. I too worry about what I will have to do if I need to repair or replace one of the wheels on the 930.
