I prefer the Lexol or Zymol 2 step products (cleaning and conditioning/feeding). Both are excellent in my experience.

I don't like Lexol, over time it eats the stitching.

Over my years & many products used, my favorite, for ease of use, feel & final outcome is Leather Masters. They feel clean & smooth, super soft.

I have not experienced the deterioration of the stitching as a result of using Lexol on the leather; can you elaborate?

Leatherique seems to be the better approach. I don't have long term experience with it, but I treated the 993 and my wife's 300CE with Leatherique and it seems to be very nice. They have a conditioner and cleaner that I used. can buy online. google "Leatherique"

I used to use it on my BMW's & over the course of many years, the rear seat that were never used all the seams split & the stitching was just falling apart. When I had them restiched, the shop said it was do to the Lexol.

Thanks for the feedback. While I use the Zymol primarily I will have to keep an eye on the cars on which I used the Lexol products and intend to keep for a long time.

Did you contact Lexol to see if they would provide any remedy for the repair of the split seams?

Nope, I never contacted Lexol, I highly doubt they would accept responsibility anyway.
