1996 C4s

I just wired the money last thursday and i am counting the hours until tomorrow morning when it is supposed to arrive. I found this car in colorado and am having it shipped to Santa Cruz.
My first Porsche was a 97 993 C2, then an 04 C4S, to an 03 Turbo, to an 04 C4S X51 Cab, to a 06 997 C2S, to an 06 997 C2S cab, to an 03 GT2. Now i am finally going back to where it all began. I have not been this excited about a car in a long time!
It is a 1996 C4S, 26000 miles, Polar Silver on Classic Grey. Here are the photos I recieved through email. I hope it is as nice as it was described to me. I will post pics when it gets here. It feels like christmas eve!

To bo honest i am growing tired of todays production Porsche's. I appricate the power and performance they offer, and i am sure i will have another 997. I just always regreted selling my 993 and I think they are a classic. I miss what an older Porsche has to offer. There are to many of todays production Porsche's on the road and i dont feel they are as special as the older air cooled cars. I think a 993 Porsche is a great conversation piece. I am very passionate about the air cooled cars and really enjoy talking about them and the Porsche history. I feel they 993 has a great pedigree that people can appricate more so than the water cooled cars of today.

Nice color and it does look pristine. Did you fly over there to check it out or do a PPI?

Well the car arrived! It is really nice to be back in an aircooled Porsche. It's just something about the smell, sound and look that you don't get in the newer Porsche's.

That is from the "Are you listening?" video that was put out for the introduction of the 993. I got one back in 94, but I have no idea what I did with it. It was on VHS anyway, and I no longer have a VHS machine that works.

Car looks clean..... I have always been tempted to trade my C2S for the 997s but glad to see people switching back to the 993s

Congrats. Very special car. I love the gauges in the 993...very airplane-like.

Nice choice!

BTW, either this is odd coincidence, but browsing dealers (as I do sometimes), I found a '96 C4S in Santa Cruz that looks just like yours (or is this yours?):
