What's the $$$ on a 96 C4S ??
i'm looking at a 96 C4s with 20,XXX miles. black on black. sport seats. reall clean. what's
the money on these ? seem to be anywhere from $45k to $ 65K.
is $45k a fair offer ?

Ditto - $45K is a good starting offer ... but considering the mileage I would entertain a few more $ - it all depends how motivated the seller is. Good luck and post a pic if you end up being successful - and welcome to the party.

Dealers aren't ever going to give you that good of a deal. If the car is well documented and what you want. You'll just have to pay a premium for the car at the dealer. Over the life of you owning the car. It ultimately won't matter much.

Have you seen this car? Do you recall what mods it had?
Thanks

i dont recall the mods. it was too clean (and a bit pricey) for me to buy as a track day car. but what a gorgeous car.

yep, we're all a bunch of goobers up here. that's why we have that dump of a track called Road America with very little road racing history. the ignorant comment about wisconsin aside. it 's been there for nearly a year. maybe when all us hick midwesterners sober up and get out of bed with our relatives, we'll see it's a good car. although the ignorant ones are those who are reluctant to go a few states away to find a nice example of a future classic.
