Trade down to a 993?

Trade down to a 993?
Please help me with a big decision. I have a 2001 Speed Yellow TT, 19,200 miles with a Tip. I am still paying on it and owe 16,500.
I saw a beautiful 97 993 6 speed at my local dealership. I can work a deal where I will walk away with the 993 and a little money, and no more car payments. The 993 has 21,000 miles and two PPIs done. Car is like new.
Notwithstanding the savings on the car payments, is the deal crazy. Or does it make sense to anyone.
Need opinions pretty soon. Please help.

Hey Larry
How much exactly are they going to give you for your TT and how much do they want for the 993? I'm a little concerned that they are going to charge you too much for the 993......

Is it a turbo? You will want at lease a Turbo to not be dissapointed with the power.
If so then it is the ultimate Porsche INMO. Be prepared for less comfort and more work. They are not as reliable as a 996 and are more challenging to drive but those wide hips make is the most seductive and sexy 911 of all.
