Favor: Looking for a 993 C2s or C4S
Luis and the rest of the 993 fans,
I posted this in the FS section but I thought this might get the right audience. I'm looking for a 993 C2S or C4S. I want one with no stories but I don't care if it has 50K+ miles so long as it's been properly serviced and maintained. I want it in the 30s, if possible but I would probably pay $40K for the right one (options, color, etc.)
Does anybody have any leads? If so, please PM me, thanks!

Man, you missed a perfect one at Barrett Jackson. Crazy prices.

You should be able to find a nice one in the low $40's. There are always a few for sale on rennlist.

Contact Richard Sloan in CT. www.sloancars.com
I met with him last weekend and where his prices are a little higher he does find some fine examples of cars. Even if you don't buy from him he seemed very knowlegeable and will give you some good places to look.

Yeah, he loves it. I can't figure out how to copy and paste pics here. Will let me copy not paste or I'd send some pics to whet your appetite and make you pull the trigger. Ha.
I can forward the e-mail if you have an address. I will also call him to see if he knows where any others are located.

They are out there but hard to find for under 40k. That was simply a steal for a C2S with low miles for 38k. If you look long and hard you should be able to find one. Also a PPI is a must on the 993's.

Hey Corey -
Ideally I'd find somebody to trade me for my 05.5 S4. If that doesn't work, I'm willing to pay up to $42K for 98, less than 50K miles, all paperwork showing proper service, 1-2 owners, perfect ppi and compression tests, no stories, 6 speed, and either grey, silver, or blue (white or black - maybe). Would like the right options - you know, the ones I'd do - alum shifter, exhaust, suspension, and twists. It's going to be a daily driver so it's got to hold up.
Am I picky enough?
