Opinions on 996TT purchase

Thanks for the help guys...I decided to pull the trigger on the blue 03 last night. Took a second look at her in the light of day and just love the combo. One thing I noticed, I ran an oil check and it came up with the indicator on the last line on the bottom, so according to the manual about a quart and a half low. Line was not blinking..any reason to be worried? Owner says the car was serviced and oil changed about two months ago. He's driven it looks like about 1500 miles. ppi still to come.....I'm working on trying to have the car by the weekend! Now I just have to sell my mint 86 1/2 Blk/Blk 928S 5 speed so my Cayenne doesn't have to sit outside when the snow flies!

I got the PPI done today and they washed the car, I knew there must be a reason someone sells a dirty car...well I knew the paint needed a rub out and detail but what we found was the whole front clip had been painted as well as the rear hood/spoiler and maybe the roof. The work was OK but you could tell for sure it had been painted. The mechanical was fine, but even at $62K as negotiated I decided to pass on the car...there's a story here somewhere and I didn't want to spend that to find out the hard way. Plus on the extended drive I found the sport seats to be pretty uncomfortable for me. I offered him $57K , he said the dealer had offered him $60K and I told him he should take it. Two hours later the car is on e-bay, BIN $68K, reported "excellent condition. Just not so...I'm looking at another one tomorrow or I may go back to the silver w/32K miles and get that one checked out. These PPI's could get expensive but it's money well spent. I'm bummed but better to know now.
