Reasons to get a 996tt over a 348/355 Ferrari?

funny, just saw this old thread. I am almost went the F355 route myself. I think the F355 will hold value better, but balance this with spending $10-15K in maintenance every 4-5 yrs and I think it balances out.
F355 really holds the resale value.
Friend of mine bought a 1997 F355 Spyder 8 month ago with 16Kmiles, Red/Tan, 30K miles service done, so-so condition for $64K plus shipping. He spent couple thousand dollars to repaint the front bumper and minor touch up. He sold the car 2 month ago for $74K to a dealer. He end up to making $4K profit.

I am not of the funding to support the F car and I want a car that I can drive every day.....and afford to do so.
If I had a LOT more $$$, then the F car would be ok. I'd probably have 2 or 3 of them or equivalents for when one was in the shop in that case.
