hey boris no worries, without seeing the car I was certainly worried but it looks like it just worked Keep an eye on things obviously (aka with a passenger).

ok several questions about which wheels and the offsets.....

1. THESE ARE 997 GT3RS wheels (not 996gt3, not 997gt3 but 997gt3rs)

2. Offsets:
997 GT3RS Wheels:
8.5 x 19 offset 53mm
12.0 x 19 offset 51mm

3. Be carefull, the 997 GT3 Wheels look identical and the front are identical, but the rear has a very different offset
8.5 x 19 offset 53mm
12.0 x 19 offset 68mm

Don't get the 997GT3 wheels as you would need a 22-23mm spacer to get them to work.

Hope that answers everyone's questions....

Cheers,
Boris

Would those be a direct bolt on (no spacers) to a Gt2, since the wheels are the same width as stock?

no they are not a direct bolt on with no spacers on a gt2. the stock gts has an offset of 45mm. these have a stock offset of 51mm. i put on 5mm spacers which effectively make it a 46mm offset - almost identical to a stock gt2 wheel.

Do they supply new lugnuts with the wheel? Do the spacers have an effect on the lugnuts seating properly? I know stupid questions, but I am really thinking of getting a set of black 997Gt3RS wheels.

the wheel spacers come with new lug nuts and even a locking lug nut, so that is part of the 5mm spacer kit you buy.

as for tires i'm running Michellin PS2

front: 235/35/19
rear: 315/25/19

but i just transfered over previous tires. if i had to buy them again i think i'd buy:
front: 245/35/19
rear:305/30/19

spec wise, i think i like that setup more.
