new shoes on my 996TT (GT3RS wheels)

Very nice, I just grabbed a set of the same type of rim ,but in the 18" variety as my street set. Never been a fan of the ride compromise that comes with 19's on our cars, but the look sure is nice!I got my right off 6speed so they are out there and are the correct offsets for turbos. I love the look of the OEM rims and mine should be here in a couple of days... Here are some pics of the rims I bought.....

Those rims look really great on yellow cars. I just installed some 19" Techarts and had to get the fenders rolled. Pain in the but butt but I love the aggressive look.

so two things to consider.
1. you are probably looking/measuring at the tire vs. the wheel. in my case the wheel is a 12" wheel so for those of us running wider tires that is the point that is furthest out vs. the wheel. therefore you are correct in that 15mm is about the right number. but in my case i have a 12" wheel, so it pushes the wheel out further and not the tire.
2. my wheels are 19x12et51 with 15mm spacer = 19x12et36
the stock wheels are 18x11x45. if you use the offset calculators available on the web you'll see that my math is correct.
