Anyone done AFR and EGT gauges?

Just looking for some ideas.... I can put an exhaust prope in easily for an EGT but some of the gauges I've seen, well I'm not sure where I'd put 'em or what to do with them...

sharkster,

I have them on mine. I think you saw them. It is a molded piece that fits up where the sun roof switch is located. It looks like OEM. You might contact Rob at S Car Go. My first prototype had fewer gauges. I believe Rob still has it.

Whoah that set up was insane if I remember right Spaceship! It's got way more than I could use but can't hurt to ask him.

PS Let me know when you want to pick up your car

Alex,

The above picture has six gauges. The original prototype has the same design, however the gauges are round and there is only three or four gauges. The gauges are also digital.

Pistol,

I will ask Rob at S Car Go to take some interior pics. He still has the car.

Yes sharkster, the first prototype that I am refering to had round Dakota Digital Gauges. I believe it also has a tire pressure monitor. Call Rob, you could probably save a bundle on this unit if he still has it.

i think luting_chen is runnig an egt and sfr sensor , i know he's using defi gauges for sure...

cehcky with him sharky, if i had a choice i will go with an afr gauge over an egt, since the afr is a better gauge to see if your car is ruinning lean under full boost or at spirited driving.
i have know people who had egts on their cars, that had their temps on normal during spirited driving but was actaully running lean, there have been numerous debate on the japanese car wesite, specifically supras on the validity of an egt, i believe u should try to use a wideband o2 sensor as a better way to measure if teh shark mobile is running lean or not..

but most importantly show us pics of teh install

Kevin's car has the best looking setup I've seen. Having the full carbon interior makes it work.

Looks Slick. I woould like to see some more curves on the Guage cluster and the carbon mesh going the same direction as stock. But other than that I like the setup.

Sharky-

You might want to take a look at SPA. I am using the EGT/Boost gauge that they make and am fond of it because it is a dual gauge and so is very compact.
