Looking for a Bay Area (Ca) Porsche Shop that can Change my Plugs

Talked to Sharkwerks and they are booked up for a while. Not sure if I can wait another 2 weeks with the check engine light on and not boosting the car.

Is there another reputable Porsche Shop in the area that can change my sparkplugs without charging an arm and a leg? Thanks

FWIW, For something simple like a plug change, there's always the dealer.

My experience with the $stealership is they wouldn't install any plug other than Beru's and they are to expensive.

With a CEL, and it not boosting...sounds alot like you have joined the MAF club. You may consider buying a testing software like Durametic, see what the code is, and fix it yourself. MAF's on Ebay are $225, at the dealer they are $613.53. It's two screws and your done..but it doesn't sound like plugs to me.

Good Luck.

Hi. Bauer Porsche is an independent shop I use and trust.
They are in Oakland:

Oakland, CA 94612
(510) 834-2772

Ask for Chris or Brian

The car boosts fine, just that when it boosts it stutters really bad. Feels like the traction control is on or the car hopping. From what I've been told its most likely the sparkplugs?

Bauer will analyze the problem too, not just replace plugs unless that's what
you want...
