You had your plugs changed for $212.50 in labor? THAT'S the deal of the century!!

Indy is a bit cheaper. I.E. My brakes were flushed for 85$ and about 50 for the fluid I think.

Plugs 2.5 hours at 85/hr plust 10 per plug.
Oil 85. I bring the oil
Filters....air/pollen. I got them from an amazon.com supplier for about 20 ea, OEM.

So.....if you are creative, not bad.

i probably spend $1k/quarter for stupid s*** breaking, towing costs, etc these days. in fact, the plugs fouled out yesterday on the way home and now i have to tow it in.

if you buy the wrong car, it will get expensive - shocks, motor, tranny, and who knows what else (yes, i bought the wrong car.)

CSD952 is infamous around these parts
I've only owned mine 8 months and 5K miles and had the oil changed and front tires balanced twice for about $260 at the dealer. I'll need new tires next spring but that's it. The car is completely stock and was well maintained by the PO. So, buying the right car is excellent advice.

Cheaper for me, I do all my own work except tire mount and balance. So far it has been mods and a battery and an oil change, polen filter and a do-dad here and there. What I can't get over is the cost of some of the parts. Coming from a NA 964 to the 996TT was a shock on some of the Stealer, I mean Dealer.

Of course I do. Thats why I want you to get a turbo. jeje. Bring it. I searched for ever(3 years) and finally just bit the bullet and got this 02 for 56.6K. I had to get tires right off the bat, and that was $1800. And a flash was $2100~from UMW. Alignement issue I am working out has been a pain, but the car is pretty much bullet proof. You won't regret it. I wish you good luck, and let me know if you need any help ever.
