Lambo Gallardo vs 996Turbo
#16
I have spoken with three Gallardo owners who have Egear and they have had no problems. Two of them are daily drivers. Z8 Tako, on the M5 site, has one Egear and one 6 speed and both have been problematic.
As with any first year production car there are problems. I am going for a late 04 or an early 05 in hopes they have worked most of them out.

I am going with the Egear. My M5 will be sold next week to an associate of mine in Hawaii. He is coming out here to pick it up and take a road trip from Denver to LA. What a blast he is going to have.
I will miss it but I have to make room for the Lambo and besides, I need a reason to pick up an M6 when it becomes available.

NoMercy, your one cool guy.. M6 will be great, but why not the new M5 Im thinking of getting one myself, when the time is right. and btw good choice on the E-GEAR the gallardo's clutch is light and good but your pay 4000+ $ to fix it.. and it always needs fixing, lamborghini service is expensive unlike porsche.. and say good bye to your M5 for me, I just love that car.. a shame to be sold!
