Looking for a Loud Exhaust - No straightpipes

I have a Stage 2 car with Europipe Stage 1 exhaust. The exhaust was put on by the previous owner. Although it sounds great (nice tuned sound) its WAY too quiet for me.

I am looking for a very loud, tuned exhaust for my TT. I would like the Europipe tune, but I heard even the europipe loud is not that loud. What do you guy recommend?

The reason I say no straightpipes is because I heard the car loses low end torque and I don't want that. Thanks.

I would bet whatever Al Norton has is the loudest there is, the 996 TT is not the best car for a great sounding exhaust, there arent many great sounding options. And some drone like mad (mine PSI loud).

Check out GMG's WC and WC-GT systems. They're both pretty loud outside of the car but nearly no drone inside. Here's a clip of their WC system. Good luck!

Yep, the Fabspeed old-school exhausts (Gen I or II) are the highest HP exhausts commercially available because of the "straight through" design, which no one uses any more because of the resonance.

And you can get muffler bypasses if you ever venture out to the track and can trade more HP for a little less low end Tq.

I heard the Fabspeed loud's aren't even that loud. I don't mind resonance or drone...

Video clips would also be great.

Also I saw Markski's setup is one of his videos. I know he has a lot of engine work done, but his setup sounds amazing. Does anybody know what exhaust he has??

The Fabspeed SuperSport exhaust is what your looking for. Trust me its LOUD! I'll try to get a sound clip for you. It's not as loud as a Borla and no cats on a Camaro/Trans AM, but its pretty damn loud.

I must tell you that my stainless FVD system with the GIANT 200-Cell Euro-Cats sounds AWESOME and no drone.... and it's LOUD.

Make sure you have the HUGE cats to go with the otherwise free-flowing exhaust. BIG BIG difference. Have I mentioned that I LOVE my FVD system with the 200 cell cats yet?

You're not going to get obnoxious-loud if that's what you want, given that your P-Car has turbos in the way which DO tend to quiet things down quite a bit, but trust me that when you're standing next to a dynamometer and the car is doing a 6,000RPM pull, you'll leave with your head ringing. (mine certainly was)

Its INSANE loud

It also sounds really good, again I think due to the straight through design.

Just get a custom 3" exhaust all the way through with mandrel bends, straight-thru mufflers, and race cats. You'll be able to specify exactly what you want, it'll make more power than any off-the-shelf system out there, and will cost 1/2 as much. If you want it loud, that's the only way to go IMO.

Good luck

What about Tubi exhaust? I drove a 996 TT "S" with Tubi and no cats. I remembered it sounding good, but this was over a year ago.
