Ferrari Seats on 996TT !!
hello..
a friend of mine own a 996TT and he saw some ferrari seats for sale like the ones shown bellow, their great really. are they better than the GT3 Seats, and can you actually fit them on a 996TT or it would never work? he wants to do it, I think it would never work...

Actually it could work but you would need to modify the railing from the Ferrari seat to the tracks where the Porsche seats used to be. For the money, why not buy the GT3s? There's a group buy somewhere here...

hey probably doesn't want the fixed back. And rails shouldn't be hard to get to fit, i wouldn't be suprised if someone already makes a bolt up to put those seats in a pcar.

hmm.. thats true about safety, but I think the guys main goal is about looks I guess, they do look better actually with that carbon fiber back, very nice.. but your point is well taken..

As someone who is struggling with the whole seat issue (I am concerned with having no movable back) I think Porsche should be embarrassed with the "normal" seats they put in the 996tt. My Toyota Landcruiser seats literally have more lateral support.

or atleast similiar...I'm sure you could get them in CF as well.
And I know sparco makes seat brackets for 996. They are $125 each retail and you can drill them to fit any seat. I use them all the time on different applications.
