FVD ecu flash: alive and angry
#48
Congrats! Im about to flash my 996tt too, but i cant decide what ecu i should go with. I`ve been thinking about UMW,Proto or GIAC, but after this thread maybe FVD is the way to go? We got Speedart ecu on the 997tt but i think thats to expensive compared to the others. What did you pay for the FVD flash?

My FVD flash came in about 4-6 hours. you have been waiting over 24hours? You should contact them.

I wish FVD would have a stage2 promotion soon again.

If you were referring to my car, I went off line and I seriously don't know HP right now. Was to hit the Mustang dyno after latest round of changes but ended up at track instead. Will find out this week.
Had a new billet 70 mm intake plenum put in, new clutch--went with a Clutch Masters with a full disk of Fiber Tech, still Stage Three (handles all the power but driveable around town) rather than a puck which is a challenge in stop & go traffic. Complete set of Silicone Boost Hoses so no boost bleed because of hose bulge. Iridium spark plugs and finally a new Porsche OEM Water Pump Housing (which I've been told is actually the oil pump but Porsche insists on calling it the H2O pump). Some of these may have significantly pumped HP--except water pump (went **** up).
I was just under 700 HP after adding headers, Agency Power exhaust system, Greddy Profec B Spec 2 boost controller, forge closed loop-diverter valves, cold air intake kit (mine is aluminum, but they just came out with cf and are about to come out with dual snorkel). I'm in on that. I think I got it all--may have missed something. Will Dyno again this week & post it.
