Fred,

I saw them at Akkurat last weekend. They look fantastic. I am surprised at the weight. I have Fikse FM/10's 9.5" and 12.5" and they weigh almost the same. What is Akkurat charging for the fire system and where are they locating the nozzles?

Hi Fred that's really strange. I swear they feel lighter than that. Mine weigh like 21 in the front and 24 in the rear... Ah well they're STILL light & p1mp.

I have been looking for a light 18" wheel to fit over the brakes as well. Fikse can do any of their Profil series wheels and Jim Fikse sent me a proposal. I really like the look of these, only in silver for me. Can you PM me the cost for everything assuming no painted centers? What tires are you going to run?
Ken: These Fikse Profil 13's in GT2 sizes/offsets (8.5 and 12")weigh in at 21 and 22.5 lbs, front and rear, respectively.

Fred, the wheels look Great!! Very "serious". N many on the street, and probably none painted black like yours - congrats

I think the fact that they had to fit OVER those monster calipers needs to be kept in mind as people post the weights of other light wheels. As I recall, there are very few 18" wheels that could even come close to fitting?

..Fred, those BBS wheels should look absolutely Awesome on your car, congrats!

But, from the above quote, do YOU mean that a stereo shop is going to have your 996tt for THREE weeks doing a Stereo System?
Any info on that?
