Wheels arrived

Well my wheels finally arrived from BBS. These are 18's customs made to fit over my 15" Big Brembo kit, are made of Magnesium, have centers painted, and have both the center lock and lug bolts. All I can say is they are LIGHT. (special thanks to Akkurat)

I will have them put on in 3 weeks when I get my car back from my stereo shop.

and here are some other projects I am working on

and I just got hold of the (tire tread stickers) made for the this TechArt car. I am waiting to find out when I will be able to have them.

more to come in the coming weeks (fuel injectors, HKS racing blow off valve, etc..)

hehe nice one Fred, I took a sneak peek when I was there last VERY damn light. Crazy light....

Glad you came up with an 18 inch solution for the brakes... Mind you, I think you could have some brake bias issues with the one up front and stock in the rear? Might want to get that done too some point... Brakes aint cheap tho

Now THAT'S what I'm talking about.

Did BBS do the paint and custom offset work or a wheel shop?

My polish sausage weighs more than a single wheel. I would guess 14 pounds?

BBS did it all. Akkurat took pics and provided all the measurements directly to BBS. BBS did not want to paint them but we got them too ;-)

For some reason when you pick them up they feel like they are indeed 14lbs, but they weight 21 and 22. From what I have heard that's still really good. Any thoughts?

Fred,
I have been looking for a light 18" wheel to fit over the brakes as well. Fikse can do any of their Profil series wheels and Jim Fikse sent me a proposal. I really like the look of these, only in silver for me. Can you PM me the cost for everything assuming no painted centers? What tires are you going to run?
