Is Fabspeeds Parts Made In Taiwan?

agree....my clients deal alot with offshore manufacturing and this is true.
The actual fabrication of metal and components is no different on shore than off shore. Are we delusional enough to think that Chinese welders are worse than ones from the USA? A welder with 15 years experience will be good no matter what country he lives in.
The difference is the quality paid for. You can get top notch quality in China that will match the very best manufacturing in the USA. The difference is most people go offshore to get the very cheapest they can for quality at a "price point". Don't fool yourself, there are very high tech plants in china utilizing the very finest manufacturing process in some cases the very best in the world. Is that what every manufacturer who builds off shore is using? Of course not.
Associating Asian countries with low quality parts really is a stereotype and not true in all cases.

There are plenty of complaints! Not just dealing with their advertisment either.

I hope they are not made in Taiwan,,,
They just got done with my X-pipe, for my dyno comparison against my Milltek, in which they said they shipped it out yesterday,,,,so that means it will take a long time to be shipped here then...

It's funny how people are still worried where parts are made!? China has a few large companies that are OEM part suppliers to major vehicle brands.
What you have to worry about is the company's reputation and quality control; not where parts are made. "Made in the USA" doesn't really mean much anymore.

Its also possible they have parts come in from over seas and they assemble at their plant. The x portion in the center of some of their exhausts don't look like normal welded pipe, seems like it's pressed or formed so could be made in China to their specs then finally welded in house depending on the orders.. Who knows.
Either way it's not an indication of low quality as many have said here. Only issue is they are saving huge $$$s on using over seas process yet they continue to sell exhausts for over $3000. Nice they are passing on the cost to the consumer. Their exhausts could be wholly manufactured in Taiwan or China for 1/4 of their MSRP.

I'm sure they might farm some stuff out, but I've been to their facility, hundreds of jigs, tubing, crap everywhere. No question it was an active manufacturing facility. I watched them welding up 930 headers, not sure what the deal is, perhaps somebody from fs could chime in?
