lots of them here in south florida, must be all that sun. What color is everyones interior that this is happening to? Is it mostly black?

Black for mine also.........but I'm up here in the great white North......temp on the roof says 37.9 right now......and the sun is only out a few hours a day .
Kidding......sure the summers get warm here too.......and for a 2001 there has been 6 of them.

Black as well....Is the dash piece one big section or how many pieces it? I wanted to know the cost and part number if there is no other good solution besides replacing it.

 

2001 with black interior too....my car spent its first 3 years in Texas, and the last 3.5 here in Maryland.

 

Black here as well...I used it in Colorado for 1.5 year and then I shipped here...I spoke about this problem with my Dealer at that time (Porsche Extended Wart.) and they said that this PEW does not cover it.

Today it has grow more...and it must to be replaced or fixed soon..

 

i think its one huge fawking peice , im about to talk to this local upholsetry and interior guru , and see what he sais . i will keep u guys posted ... im tired of looking at it , it looks like a shriveled up old ******** lol.

I was going to take my car in as well, but not sure of who to trust in my area. Would be great to hear if anyone else has/had this issue.

My CF is starting to curl up too..... not bad enough to fix yet but would like to know a solution for when it does start bothering me.

 

i just purchased my second 996. it is a florida car. my leather is black and curling up. i have 996 with tan leather and it still looks like new.
