dyno day - who will step up?
guys Harman Motive in Torrance just got their brand new AWD Mustang Dyno put in. www.harmanmotive.com
This dyno is a load bearing dyno so we can finally do the TTs in 4wd drive mode with no issues...
let me know who is interested and we will put something together...
just confirmed it with the owner, Dan. We are set for Saturday December 8th at 10AM. $1000 for the day. 10 cars max
RULES per owner of facility:
No kids or dogs
everyone must sign liability waiver (meaning your car breaks on the dyno, they are not responsible).
no icing of intercoolers or messing with engine in between runs
and of course everyone needs to be cool and respectful
we will do 3 pulls per car. they can hook up air/fuel ratio if people are interested.
they require 50% deposit, which i can handle but you guys on the list need to show up or we will hunt you down j/k

Hi guys. If anyone can try really icing down their intercoolers and
letting them get frosty before repeating a run, I would be very
grateful for the data, which I can use for my racing.
thanks,
Joe
PS: For drag-strip use, you would probably use dry ice and blast
the intercoolers with a CO2 fire extinguisher to pre-chill them
so there's no water dripping.

yes, they can check afrs but usually it costs more...

I'd be into it too. I'm currently interested in upgrading my FVD Stage 4 to Speed Gallery's SG650 kit, so it would be nice to see what the difference is on the same dyno on the same day.

Yeah, let's do this on a Saturday morning/afternoon after Thanksgiving and before X-mas...
