Hmmm....how much addl expense? Is this comprised of injectors and pumps or are there fuel rails also?

7K...but that includes the cat delete, evo intake instal and 1.6K in dyno fees.
Car is absolutely perfect now...OK, maybe I would benefit from plenum and TB...but I am already pushing stock bottom end as is. Car is insanely fast.

guys really stock injectors are just that good enough for stock. Even with high profile stage 4 tunes the car is running out of fuel. Do yourself a favor and at least put injectors in with a custom tune or go straight to the 700 kits. Both set ups have seem to work flawlessly. Well Actually I take that back because the evoms kit has blown mafs and the hitachi maf isnt amazing by any means. LOL
PS be safe and get an afr gauge everyone please!

Choy,
You can’t go wrong with either turbo setup. In response to the 28 turbos falling off…
The turbos pull very hard to redline, actually even at 750HP they pull hard and don’t fall off. Several tuners have been able to achieve 630-650HP on stock injectors with supporting mods and light fuel upgrades with both turbo setups. In our opinion the 28 turbo has the low lag, big V8 feeling many of our customers enjoy; making the GT28’s a good choice for this power range. With Either setup you can upgrade the injectors and software to make 700 plus horsepower, so really your set whichever turbo you decide. If you have any technical questions please feel free to call myself or Sam at the shop anytime.
Best
Nick

I have been researching this very topic trying to decide which "stage" I am going with; what/where the best bang for the buck is and where that "law of diminishing returns" comes into play.
Someone correct me if I am wrong, but the way I understand it is that the stock fuel delivery system is good for about 600hp, given you get there w/ your mods. Above that, regardless of turbos, ecu's, etc., you need injectors, pumps, et al.
Experts, is that about right?

There are kits of varying price and hp delivery yes...you just have to see what fits your wants. You are correct about the 600hp on stock fuel. Then we go to a higher flow pump and fuel pressure for a little more juice. After that we go to injectors, more pumps, lines, rails and so on to get those higher numbers. That is why a 600-650 may be a little better bang for the buck for some.

I have a few questions for you, I am planning on getting a 996TT in the future so of course I'm already shopping for which kit to get . I recently got to do some pulls with TKDalumni and NineNineSixTT with my Stg 3 S4 and was kinda surprised of the outcome.
I pulled about 3+ CLs on Thomas' car, but he was on 91 and had a very light passenger and Adam and me were pretty even(he was on 104). My car probably makes a legitamate 470/480whp so there should be no way that I should be pulling on these cars. So are their cars not running 100% or are those hp numbers a bit optimistic?
thnx

get some used K24s- upgrade for just a tad over $1000. $400 for a set of Wgs installed... used exhaust $1500. 5 bar fpr $80. Proto ECu $2975 with custom upgrades thereafter for $365. Greddy boost controller $300.
this set up willl run down most of the cars on the street. Just look at what Dmaffo did at the track. Those who doubted a year ago what I have been preaching now believe.
