sdorn is infamous around these parts
117mph is pretty low for a car making as much power as yours. Even with a bad launch you should be able to make a better trap speed. My car is just a FVD stage 1 (ecu flash and air filter), and it pulled 117mph trap speeds.

I was just thinking the same thing. A 510 WHP car trapping 117 mph? Cohare trapped 116.6 with just a flash and exhaust on k16's. Where and how are you getting your horsepower numbers?

I bet if you switched to a GIAC, Protomotive, or UMW you will pick up a TON of mph! I had horrible luck with my upsolute at the track!

Cohare's car has an Upsolute flash. BTW, I heard that Jamie Furman ran a 10.96 in his Gt2 with just a Flash/Exhaust & Drag Radials on Pump Gas. That is some serious driving considering that the other cars on this board that have run times similar to those are modded to the gills and are putting out 650 to 700 plus hp to the wheels.

I picked up over 3mph (Would have been more if my clutch wasn't slipping) in the 1/4 just by changing the flash from upSolute to GIAC. Jamie has a Protomotive tune in his car and it FLYS!!!

Powell - matched you today with my upsolute - 11.8 @ 118. It can be done! Post the slip when I can get the camera to work. - oh yeah I was on 19's with full pressure too.

Jamie ran a 10.86 I believe later in the day..

And Mike just needs a little practice and his beast will be in the 11's easily! The track got a little stickier later in the day too.

What do you mean by Protomotive Tune? I don't think it's a Protomotive Flash, but if it is, it's just a flash and exhaust. I also believe that he flashed his car over 3 years ago before a lot of people were doing it. He is on the board somewhere right now, I'll let him speak for himself.

10.86!!! Crap, I should of dropped off the wife and hauled my *** down there. Great run Chris, I think that's close to as good as it gets on k16's on pump gas. Time for the wastegates! Oh well, it won't be the last time we're down there. I guess you guys can blame me for the bad weather; I picked the day.

Mike is certainly making the power but just couldnt get it to hook up. It took me at least 10 runs just to get a 12.2 the first time. Just need to get that launch right, in these AWD cars its a B
